Your clients home is your showroom. Imagine this, your client’s friend stop by and is amazed at how great their tile looks. “Wow, I love this tile. Where did you buy it?” or “This looks amazing, who installed it for you?” The referrals roll in.
But what happen a year from now if that beautiful floor is starting to show its age. The grout or the stone in getting blotchy or down right soiled. Do the referral slow down, way down.
Lets face it you are the experts at making your clients floors look great. I am an expert at keeping them looking great for life.
Are you losing money on every job?
When your client asks you about sealing your floor, you probably do 1 of three things.
- You might seal it yourself. But, is the best use of your time. Do you want to take time away from your next install to come back three days later to seal the floor.
- You might tell them not to seal it. I actually know several installers who give this advise. If this is you, not only are you doing a dis-service to your clients you are hurting yourself also.
- You may tell them that you don’t offer that service. If this is you, you are leaving money on the table.

What if after the next install or sale you book you simply ask your client if they would like find out about protection their investment and getting a lifetime stay clean guarantee. From that point I take over. I will explain the benefits of sealers and how they can get a lifetime warranty. I even educate them on the best way to care for there floors for their routine cleaning. When I complete the job, you get paid.
